I just had to share these amazing pillows with you I designed for my client’s Family Room. I can’t wait to get pictures of them in the actual room, but isn’t this fabric so cool?
Here is a close up of the fabric… see the snakes?
Stay tuned for pictures of the room!

When I was in Phoenix last week visiting my family, my cousin Debbie, aunt Sue, and I went to this very cool place called “Dry Bar” together.
Now, Dry Bar is definitely not what you would first expect it to be, this place does not serve virgin drinks but they do have a menu that offers Manhattans, Cosmos, and Mai Tais. Dry Bar is actually a BLOW dry bar, a hair salon without the scissors and color.
The three of us went to Dry Bar on Sunday to get our hair styled for an event we were heading to later that night. I just had to share this place with you because it is such a unique concept! And I found out that there is one in Georgetown too (farther up Wisconsin Ave)!!
I just love the way the salon was designed, the walls were upholstered in tufted white leather, a wraparound white lacquer bar and bar stools, and pops of yellow in the accent tables and light fixtures; the chandelier in our salon in Phoenix was actually made out of yellow blow-dryers!
Check out the Dry Bar website here to learn more!
Have you tried Dry Bar yet?
The perfect paint color.

Happy Valentine’s Day from the Sky Interiors team!!
I stayed with my Aunt and Uncle in their gorgeous house in the “Paradise Valley” area of Phoenix. We went hiking one morning, and went on a walking tour of her neighbor hood another where I was able to take a few pictures of the houses in community. Talk about a dream, most of these houses average about 10,000 sq/ft I think.
How do your travels influence you?

In 4 days, I am going to Phoenix, AZ to see my family! I will see my Dad’s whole side of the family and let me tell you, its been a while. I think this will be the first time in…easily 10 years that “the Triplets” will all be together in AZ and we cannot wait to surprise my 101 year old Grandma! (She has NO idea we are coming.)
So anyway, to get even more excited for my trip, here are some totally cool Southwestern inspired interiors.
What I really love about this decor is that it reflects the natural environment and heritage of the area. “Flat roofs, open floor plans and extensive courtyards and gardens are hallmarks of a Southwestern home” (San Francisco Chronicle).
I can’t wait to share pictures of my trip when I get back next week, so stay tuned!
